Nourish Your Spirit
As a graduate of the Institute of Integrative Nutrition – I learned that as a whole person, three parts must be fed or nourished.
To be balanced and well, one must feed the mind, the body, and the soul/spirit.
There is more to life than working, saving all your money, exercising, and eating right for good health.
There is also something called authentic self-expression.
We must honor our personalities. What does our personality enjoy doing?
Embracing your authentic personality means you do that which makes you smile, gets your motor running, gets you excited and recharges your life battery.
The chosen activity fills you up, and in some cases, it pulls you in so much you do not want to leave the thing you are doing.
As a bio individual, I cannot tell you how to feed your soul or honor your personality, but I can share an example of how I do that.
My soul is on fire when I travel, I listen to live music, plan a date night, or dance with my lover under the stars.
Blending essential oils and going outdoors into nature for a walk each also enliven my spirit.
However, I think the most powerful and intrinsic way for my spirit to be penetrated with positive energy, is to stroll alongside a rising sun or a sun that is setting for the day.
Indeed, my favorite soul food is a walk on the beach viewing the colors of the gigantic star change right before my eyes.
The sun, the brightest and most energetic star, dynamizes me head to toe.
This is why the Thalassa or sea is calling me at every turn.
As a result, I regularly find ways to take myself to the water.
My suggestion to you; be vigilant with your soul food. And, when you do find yourself weary or run down, be sure to take time to ignite that spirit with a quick hit or planned pursuit with more effort, yielding greater reward.
Ola Kala and All is well when you keep your spirit alive with a little TLC.
Sending you filakia and kisses.
I remain yours in Kefi,
Kiki
