Kefi Style Spaghetti

Myzithra is a Greek whey cheese or mixed milk whey cheese from sheep or goats. It is similar to ricotta.  The flavor is distinct and delicious. Myzithra is a traditional Greek cheese and it has been made for thousands of years and is believed to be one the ancestor of all Greek whey cheeses. There are two forms:  fresh and dried.  

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 box Spaghetti

  • Grated Myzithra Cheese

  • 1 tbsp Salt

  • Parsley

  • 4 tbsp of Kefi Life® EVOO

DIRECTIONS

  • Boil water

  • Add 1 box spaghetti

  • 1 tbsp salt

  • And stir spaghetti until soft

  • Drain water out of pasta, dumping into strainer

  • Add 4 tbsp KL evoo to platter

  • Grate 1/4 cup Myzithra cheese over evoo

  • Take the spaghetti and pour over evoo/cheese

  • Mix all ingredients together

  • Top with more grated Myzithra cheese and some flat parsley.
